{E-Session} Yvon & Moyo

A Lover's Day Out.

Across many ideas to toss about what to come up for their prenup theme, we decided to making an ordinary lover's day out to cover how they usually just spend time together from riding buses in the morning to sippin' 'kopi' @ toastbox...why not put 'em in still frames then...except that we try to insert 'sweet & cute' in many ways. *wink* 

Thanks for Yvon and Moyo for working with me through out the day,too! They were --- just as hyper as I was --- despite the tiry eyes and legs at the end of the day. And most of all, Thanks for my ever supportive assistant - the hubby honeybee! ♥♥♥

I sure have much to learn throughout the shoot but it always end up still an exhilarating fun experience. Can't wait for more to come my way!!! Weeeeeeeeeh!

{E-Session} Our Very Own.

My first engagement photoshoot was our very own. 

Taken sometime June-July 2009.

Well, this set has been posted all over my Flickr and Facebook back then ....but now, I sure think they deserve to be in the new blogspot,too (and in case you just found my site today). Teehee!!!

I remember being so overhyped with all these --- and tagging along the fiance back then (now the husband) was ever so fun thing we did together. And even more hyped when this set was surprisingly featured by Kat Williams of RocknRollBride.com. The wedding world so much adores her blogsite and seeing my naive works there is beyond imagination. I was just utterly beaming and will be eternally grateful for Kat for the recognition even as an amateur myself and still learning a lot more things in the big BIG world out there!

So yeah, fast forward, we got hitched in a civil wedding finally last July 28, 2009!!! 

And come July 2010, we'll do it again --- this time for our own church wedding! 

Question is: Will we do another set of our own e-sessions? Haha

Meet Yvonne.

She's one of my bestest friends I met since I moved to Singapore and my bestest roomie EVER --- she'll be celebrating her birthday on June 11th..and not only that, she's getting married at the end of this year. So willing to pose for me while I also hone my skills in photography. Yay!

I've always wanted to practice on Portrait Photography --- finally with my new 50mm lens, I get to get the results that I wanted + a great model to start this experiment + applyin' kinda retro/vintage tones that I really enjoyed processing in CS3. Woop woop!

Meet In-In. 

I've known her from a common friend not long time ago and I tell you everyone ---- SHE TOTALLY ROCKS -- not just because she surfs on a longboard!!!!! -- but she's got that plain cool attitude and the pretty face is out of the question. ;p

Which makes her as my favorite subject for my PORTRAITS project and finally, we got the time today (almost not enough time) but we pulled it through together while we catch up before the sun went down on us. So so giddily happy! ;p

Don't you love her dreadlocks??! =)

I am bit sad to know that I won't be seeing In-In for a long while because she's going back home to our country (Cebu, Phils) for personal reasons - which means no more photoplay yet and makes me miss her -- just when we were still getting to know and enjoyin' our collaboration together on this project. *sob*

But I wish her the best there is whatever she plans to do back home again and will hope to meet her there everytime I visit,too.
