Film love & dreaming of Sakura.

That quote hit me straight to the gut! Thanks to a really great mentor and friend, TJ Sensei (from my aikido family), who posted it recently on his Facebook status. Hitting 'LIKE' button wasn't seem enough. =)

Now, I have a bursting news but first, let's talk about my new babyyyyyyyy - after a long search, I've finally got a Yashica Mat124G I bought today, handed down, from a cool guy named Tom whom I found through Clubsnap. I hope he didn't find me crazy-naive while I was probably just all looking so silly while listening to him showing me how this vintage treasure works hehe (and while typing this, I'm wishing I won't forget what he just taught me! hmmm).

Apparently, shooting in film has always entice me in such different ways than how you capture things in digital. But please don't ask me how in technical terms or so because my brain would seriously explode. Haha. I just love to play around with these things whenever I can. My few naive and still lame film project in progress is kept secretly here. *grin*

So, yeah, about the bursting news that I can't even find the rightful adjectives to even perfectly say it..... so maybe if you just imagine me jumping high on my feet and dancing like you'll never see me danced before....I think you'll get juuuuustttt the right picture. Haha.

Today happens to be our 3rd-month-church-wedding-sarry! and amazing how law of attraction always works coz we just booked our plane tickets so timely (off from a sale price, thanks to my bff Yvon who sent me the link right away just this morning!) for our overdue ha-ha-honeymoon yet next year *staring intently at the husband*.....and you ask where? .....Springtime in Japan! Banzaiiiiii!!!! (for anyone who knows me well, surely understands how dead serious crazy I am (unlike the husband who's been there a million times, darn!) to really visit that country where ancient samurai was born (i pray i'd see a lifesize shogun), visit the HOMBU DOJO (if even possible), maybe have bath-hopping from one onsen to another, pay tribute to Hachiko, witness the Sakura celebration (i might just cry joyful tears when I get there! no kidding!), track and attempt climbing Mt Fuji (goodluck huh?), eat-all-we-can-authentic-japanese-sushi-sashimi-&-ramen by the sidewalk, then play paparazzi at Shibuya's crazy fab street....oooh i could go on and on with my itenirary forever and this blogpost will bore you to death! haha!)

So it seems I have about 6 months from now to go back to where I left off with my nihongo lessons again. Ganbarimasu!!!!

*now imagine me again tigger-jumping! yosh!!!*

UNIVERSE, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

A Gratitude Journal

A very good friend of mine Tisha posted on her Facebook status lately that she will start again writing her gratitude journal. I thought, 'Yeah, why, me,too? I should....and I should NOW.'

Well, I did had one ages ago and to tell you the truth, I have quite few piles of blank notebooks/journals now that I love collecting randomly (some are left untouched bec they're too cute i don't wanna mess up the pages hah!) --- but obviously, we get caught up with that overrated excuse. uhmmm - Life Happens, huh? Guilty, I am. So to encourage myself more this time, I put on the conscience that if I could spend so much time in Facebook, scrolling up and down it's walls, why can't I even just spend 5 mins of my day to write a few sentences on a gratitude journal. Because I certainly believe that by acknowledging what we're grateful for, we deliberately become attractors of even more positive things, yeah?

And so yesterday, I did...and I felt all content. Thank you, Universe.

And superrr thanks to my client-turned-friend-for-keeps, Trish, who handed over to me a surprise gift from her Cambodia trip yesterday these 2 magical things: another addition to my treasure box collection and the crafty notebook (which is now my gratitude journal, yey!)

How endearing and I'm deeply grateful.

Hope your Mondays started out just right!

{E-Session} Wayne & Karon

I love brick walls. The textures work like magic for me. I squeal when I see them. And my fingers get so itchy ---coz I know they're just wonderful behind the camera.

And they even become even more pretty if you place two lovely souls into the frame like --- Wayne and Karon.
Both were friends since grade school but never actually had an inkling they'd end up together after college --- remind me again, how love stories like this always make you remember a really faved movie you replayed endless times just because.

I've only met Wayne on the day of our shoot and judging not only for being sweet and kind as he is, I can already tell how much he's excited to see Karon walk down the aisle soon when they finally tie the knot this coming December. Right Wayne? =)

These two surely share such blithesome spirits. You can already tell below. =)

I heart Karon's dress from Zara
Funny how I've been eyeing it for a quite a while at the shop since I saw it and I got all excited and panic when Karon planned to wear it for our shoot thinking 'Oh no, she must have bought the last piece of it!" LOL
Apparently, we drool at the same style. The next week or so, I got relieved finding that last piece of it. *phew.....high five to Karon* Teehee!
And yeah, I love Karon's dazzling hair that day, too. Lovely work including make up done by Myca Feng

This is probably my favest pick among all faves. Giggling love. *grin*

Oh ice cream love love love!!!! =)
Oh wait...I lied. this is another fave. I'm so luvin' the texture of this gate. =)

Looks like there's no more escaping for you Wayne. Haha *wink*

Sending all blissful wishes for your upcoming wedding very soon guys!
Stay sweetly in love!
